Our Story
Animal Nutrition Systems (ANS) has been serving the dairy industry for nearly five decades, built on a foundation of trust, quality, and innovation.
It all began in 1978, when we first started pre-mixing supplements and feed additives for local dairy farms. At the time, the work was done under a different name, but the vision was already clear: create a reliable system that could consistently produce high-quality blends to support dairy nutrition. By 1985, that vision had grown into a fully established company—Animal Nutrition Systems.
From the beginning, our purpose has been simple yet critical: to deliver products that farmers and nutritionists could rely on without the risks of inconsistency or contamination. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, many dairies and nutritionists were facing serious challenges. Supplement packages from various mills were often plagued by cross-contamination of feed ingredients or unauthorized substitutions. That lack of quality control directly impacted animal health and productivity. ANS set out to change that—and we did.
